A Little Bit About Me
Hi. I'm Desni Dantone, author of The Ignited Series, a young adult paranormal romance with a mild Greek mythology theme. Prepare yourself to fall in love with two swoon-worthy guys, a lot of action, and plenty of twists and turns that you won't see coming. If you're here, I assume you already know about my books, so...three things about me that you might not already know?
I love to write.
It is my passion, and has been a sort of hobby of mine for several years (since I was eleven years old to be exact!) Ignited is not the first book I have started, but is the first book I have finished and published. I'm blown away by the reception the series has had so far, and I absolutely love my fans!
I procrastinate by reading.
When I'm not writing (or chasing after my three boys) I can usually be found with my nose in a book...or my kindle. I have included on this website a list of what I enjoy reading. I figured that those of you that enjoyed reading Ignited and ended up here might find something else worth reading by glancing at my bookshelf. And, if I'm completely honest, I have met a lot of awesome fellow Indie authors since I started this adventure, and I want to brag some of them up.
I have a mild (or major) addiction to caffeine. As mentioned before, I have three boys. Two of them are twins that were born October 2014. So, yeah, I sort of need my caffeine to get through the day. My oldest son was born in April 2010. We have one dog and one cat and live in the country of Western Pennsylvania. Actually, it's my hometown. We moved back this past year when we found out about the twins. Figured the more family around to help, the better! The name of the town is Everett. If you swear you've heard of it...you're lying! Seriously. It's pretty middle of nowhere. The only known thing about it is that it's also Dean Koontz's hometown...and yes, I do find ways to bring that into conversation pretty much every chance I get.
So that's me in a nutshell. Feel free to contact me, ask questions, leave feedback. I love love love to hear from my fans!
